Thanks for visiting us at the Halloween on Nolichucky event!
We hope it was a sweet night of fun with friends and family in downtown Erwin, TN. We enjoyed the opportunity to meet so many people from our community and share some tasty treats and friendly smiles. God has given us so much and we love to be generous toward others as He has been toward us. This page is just another opportunity for us to share more with you about who God is, what He has done for all of us, and why we love Him so deeply.
The phrase, “Taste and See” that we put on the card you received comes from Psalm 34:8 which says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” We encourage you to read all of Psalm 34 which has much more to say about how God provides for and protects those who turn to Him.
Here also is a worship song based on Psalm 34, that comes straight from the Scripture:
WHAT NOW?
Fun nights like Halloween on Nolichucky and all the food and candy that comes with it only satisfies for so long. If you are looking for something more meaningful and lasting, we invite you to seek God while He can be found among those in our community who know Him.
There are faithful Christ-followers and loving church congregations located throughout Erwin, Unicoi County, and beyond that would love to welcome you into their midst with whatever questions or needs you may have, including us at First Christian Church in Erwin, TN. Every week we meet on Sundays at 9:45am for classes for all age groups including nursery, pre-k, elementary, youth, and adults. That is followed by our 10:45am worship service, which we also livestream on our website and Facebook page and post later to watch on demand at our YouTube page.
On Wednesday nights, at 5:45pm we have a free (suggested donation) meal that anyone in the community is welcome to join us for, followed by programs for elementary, youth and adults at 6:45pm. In addition to our regular events, we often have special events (like Halloween on Nolichucky) that we host or participate in throughout the community.
